Ann Hobbs

Mrs. A. Hobbs is currently a second grade teacher at Red Mill Elementary School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She obtained her degree from Florida State University. This will be her twentieth year in education. Mrs. Hobbs is the 2012 Teacher of the Year for Red Mill Elementary School and was a top five finalist for the 2012 Citywide Teacher of the Year in Virginia Beach. She serves in many leadership capacities including science lead teacher, grade level chair, Candid Conversations about Race representative, and elementary academic coordinator. She is also a member of her school's Principal's Advisory Committee, Vanguard Committee, and PTA. Mrs. Hobbs resides in Virginia Beach with her husband Ryan, and their two daughters, Grace and Megan.
