Dr. Ann Zingraff-Newton
Dr. Ann Zingraff-Newton received the 1999 Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics and Science. Her passion for quality curriculum delivered through effective and engaging instructional practice led her to become the VBCPS High School Instructional Specialist in 2000. In 2004 Dr. Zingraff-Newton was appointed the citywide High School Mathematics Coordinator. Currently Dr. Zingraff-Newton serves as the Coordinator of the Mathematics & Science Academy at Ocean Lakes High School. Her commitment to quality mathematics education for all students has motivated her to serve on numerous related committees and to hold leadership positions in various professional organizations.
