Chris Jones

Chris Jones began his career in education when he accepted a position with Virginia Beach Schools in February of 2007 as a part-time math teacher, teaching introduction to geometry and Algebra II at Kellam High School. He then accepted a full-time position as a math teacher at Green Run High school in August 2007, a position he has held since that time. Jones also served an administrative internship at Landstown High School in 2008 during summer school. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Mathematics, from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia, as well as a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University. Prior to his entry into his present career in education, Jones served in the U.S. Army from October 1997 to December 2003 in the 75th Ranger Regiment.
