Jarren Pester

Jarren Pester is a Senior Solution Specialist at Schoolnet. In this role, Jarren provides strategic support during engagement with district and state departments. She is able to leverage her experience as a classroom teacher and district administrator to present solutions to meet the needs of each unique educational agency.

Jarren joined Schoolnet after years of working in Chicago Public Schools. During that time, she worked as a classroom teacher, special education coordinator, curriculum analyst, technical trainer and data coach. She worked intimately with regional and district leadership and data analysts to determine best practices for linking relevant data to curriculum through technology. As part of the district professional development team, she developed innovative training to support K-12 Instructional Leadership Teams via web-based and in-person workshops. Jarren served as a key player to lead the pilot and initial phase of online formative assessments throughout the district.

Jarren's educational background includes a Master of Art degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has also earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary and Special Education from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Additionally, Jarren holds an ESL endorsement.
