Krista Barton-Arnold

Krista Barton-Arnold just completed her tenth year as principal of Princess Anne Elementary School in Virginia Beach. Prior to that, Krista was an assistant principal, a special education coordinator, and a special education teacher. Her professional career spans twenty-five years all within VBCPS. Mrs. Barton-Arnold received her Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo and her Master of Arts in Education from The George Washington University. Mrs. Barton-Arnold was named the Virginia Beach Reading Administrator of the Year in 2009. She and her husband Tony, who works with VBCPS, have four children all in Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
