Melanie Lee

Melanie Lee serves as an assistant principal at First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Mrs. Lee taught English as well as coached field hockey, advised the Student Cooperative Association (SCA) and school’s leadership workshop, assisted the Student Activities office, and worked on the National Association of Student Councils adult planning team for the 2002 national conference. Mrs. Lee has served at the middle school level as a student activities coordinator and a school improvement specialist, developing the testing and remediation programs. She has presented at the National Conference of Teachers of English, Virginia High School League’s Leadership Conferences and Sportsmanship Summits, and recently served on the steering committee for the 2011 VHSL Student Leaders Conference.
