Mr. Martinez currently serves as the Director of Strategy to the Denver Public Schools Chief Academic Officer, in support of the office's mission to analyze, define and lead cross-organizational initiatives aimed at advancing District reform priorities.

T. Jason Martinez has more than twenty-three years' experience in public education having served as Instructional Superintendent, Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, High School Teacher and Coach. Jason was responsible for successfully guiding the transition of ten elementary schools in DPS toward a K-8 instructional model and high student achievement. In addition, he led both elementary and secondary schools toward high achievement and successfully transitioned low performing schools into higher performing schools.

Most recently Jason has embarked on the blended learning path through the creation and founding of Simple School Design an educational start-up focused on transforming American Education through the effective use of new educational pedagogy utilizing technology as an effective tool for educational attainment and advancement of all children in a blended school model centered on personalized learning. Jason serves as Superintendent of Anastasis Academy, a private faith based school built to the Simple School Design, serving students and families in Lone Tree, Colorado. Jason has a BA in English/Education and a MA in Administrative Leadership emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
